REDUCE - REUSE - RECYCLE

Went to the Trash in Gmail, and lo! I found great eco-friendly ideas in Gmail's trashcan!!! Way to go Google!! There couldn't have been a more appropriate place than this to flash these tips!!

* Recycled paper takes about 60% less energy and water to make than new paper.
I'm glad I use an eco-friendly bag!! The pessimists may claim that the manufacturing part of the re-cycling further pollutes the environment. But recycling paper is worth all the trouble. Grow more trees dude instead of being cynical!!

* There is no limit to the number of times an aluminum can can be recycled.
:-) why! we still have ages old aluminum cans re-used and washed and re-used.... and so on.

* Recycled cans can be made into airplanes, appliances, furniture and more.
hmm..

* Rubber shoe soles can be recycled to make basketball courts and soccer fields.
ya, one fine day this wont be a just a tip, we will actually have to do it this way!

* Empty tissue boxes can provide easy and handy storage for plastic grocery bags.

* Recycled plastic bottles can be made into rugs, jackets, fences and more.
I'm sure there are tons of plastic bottles strewn all over the globe by morons!
The concept of bottled mineral water only adds to the count.

* Recycling a 3-foot-high stack of newspapers can save one whole tree.
Wooaa!!! Do we really have to use paper?! I mean why ain't folks inventing artificial, non-toxic, eco-friendly substitute for paper?! Have there been any attempts after the "papyrus" genious!??

** Unneeded printouts can be cut and stapled to make notepads.
If you are working in an office, have a moral sensibility and do give environment a thought, doesn't it bleed to see all those orphan papers just lying near the printer. Simply because of a hurried print button, or the dummies not knowing how to print excel or plain printer abuse by mindless crapos!

* Newspapers can be reused as wrapping paper for gifts.
hmm.. but they wouldn't be attractive! On second thoughts, one day paper could become so expensive that we may actually not throw away the newspaper and use it for wrapping gifts, covering school books, journals and the list is limitless...
